Παρά τις εύπεπτες «ανθρωπιστικές» διατυπώσεις των δυτικών κυβερνήσεων, ο γενοκτονικός πόλεμος κατά του λαού της Παλαιστίνης από το κράτος-δολοφόνο του Ισραήλ συνεχίζεται αμείωτος με την ολόπλευρη στήριξη του ευρωατλαντικού άξονα. Κι αν υπάρχει κάτι που μπορεί να τον σταματήσει – ή ακόμα και να θέσει κάποιου είδους θεσμικό ανάχωμα σε αυτόν όπως ήταν δυνητικά το τελευταίο έπειτα από έξι σχεδόν μήνες πολέμου ψήφισμα του Συμβουλίου Ασφαλείας του ΟΗΕ υπέρ της επιβολής άμεσης εκεχειρίας στη Γάζα- δεν είναι άλλο παρά η ίδια η παλαιστινιακή αντίσταση που ακυρώνει «επί του πεδίου» του σιωνιστικούς σχεδιασμούς, όσο και το διεθνές κίνημα αλληλεγγύης : από την ένοπλη αντίσταση στην Υεμένη και τον Λίβανο ως τις μαζικές κινητοποιήσεις μέσα στις ίδιες καπιταλιστικές μητροπόλεις.

Όπως η ιστορία δεκαετιών έχει αποδείξει, τα συμφέροντα του ευρωατλαντικού ιμπεριαλισμού στην πολλαπλά κρίσιμη γεωστρατηγικά Μέση Ανατολή περνούν μέσα από την ύπαρξη ενός πανίσχυρου κράτους δολοφόνου, ως τοποτηρητή, του Ισραήλ. Υπό αυτήν την έννοια η διπλωματική και στρατιωτική στήριξη του είναι μονόδρομος, κάτι που επιβεβαιώνει απόλυτα το άνοιγμα του μετώπου στην Ερυθρά Θάλασσα εναντίον του λαού της Υεμένης και των Χούθι στο όνομα της προστασία των συμφερόντων του διεθνούς εφοπλιστικού κεφαλαίου.

Την ίδια στιγμή η ελληνική εμπλοκή στην ιμπεριαλιστική εκστρατεία στη Μέση Ανατολή εντείνεται. Η ανάληψη του ρόλου του στρατηγικού συντονισμού της επιχείρησης “ΑΣΠΙΔΕΣ” της Ε.Ε στην Ερυθρά Θάλασσα και η παραχώρηση της στρατιωτικής βάσης της Λάρισας ως κέντρο επιχειρήσεων, ύστερα μάλιστα από την απόφαση για συμμετοχή στην αμερικανοβρετανική επιχείρηση Prosperity Guardian με τη φρεγάτα Ύδρα, σηματοδοτεί ακριβώς αυτό : την αμεσότερη και πιο ενεργή συμμετοχή του ελληνικού κράτους στο αιματοκύλισμα του παλαιστινιακού και αραβικού λαού, εξέλιξη που έρχεται να συμπληρώσει την αποστολή της φρεγάτας “Νικηφόρος Φωκάς” δίπλα σε αμερικανικό αεροπλανοφόρο που στήριζε την επίθεση στους Παλαιστινίους (υπό την ομπρέλα της επιχείρησης Standing NATO Maritime Group Τwo), τη χρήση της Σούδας για υπηρεσίες logistics και συλλογής πληροφοριών για τις ένοπλες δυνάμεις των ΗΠΑ που επιχειρούν στην περιοχή και συνεργάζονται με τον Ισραηλινό στρατό και την παραχώρηση του στρατιωτικού αεροδρομίου της Ελευσίνας, την ώρα μάλιστα που όλες οι υπόλοιπες στρατιωτικές βάσεις και εγκαταστάσεις του ΝΑΤΟ από τη μια άκρη της Ελλάδας έως την άλλη βρίσκονται σε κατάσταση εγρήγορσης έτοιμες να συνδράμουν σε οποιαδήποτε εξέλιξη στη Μεσόγειο και τη Μ. Ανατολή.

Η ελληνική αστική τάξη και το ελληνικό κράτος έχουν πάρει θέση μάχης στον πόλεμο, μη διστάζοντας να στέλνουν σε ταξίδια θανάτου τους ναυτεργάτες στην Ερυθρά Θάλασσα την ώρα που κλείνουν συμφωνίες με το ισραηλινό κεφάλαιο, μη διστάζοντας παράλληλα να ομολογούν ανοιχτά στο στρατιωτικό προσωπικό τους μέσω του Υπουργού Πολέμου Δένδια πως :« Η πατρίδα σας έχει στείλει σε ζώνη κινδύνου».

Κόντρα στις βουλές της ελληνικής άρχουσας τάξης και των ιμπεριαλιστών ωστόσο, οι ισχυροί δεσμοί φιλίας με τον παλαιστινιακό και αραβικό λαό και το κίνημα αλληλεγγύης στην παλαιστινιακή αντίσταση, που με μαζικότητα και διάρκεια εκφράζεται εδώ 6 μήνες, θα βάλει ξανά την υπογραφή του στις εξελίξεις στεκόμενο ανάχωμα στις αστικές και ιμπεριαλιστικές επιδιώξεις.

Στις 30 Μαρτίου διαδηλώνουμε μαζικά στη Λάρισα μαζί με το αντιιμπεριαλιστικό-αντιπολεμικό κίνημα ενάντια στη συμμετοχή της Ελλάδας στην ιμπεριαλιστική εκστρατεία στη Μέση Ανατολή, κρατώντας ψηλά τις σημαίες της παλαιστινιακής αντίστασης που μάχεται και νικάει με το όπλο στο χέρι!

Despite the palatable “humanitarian” formulations of Western governments, the genocidal war against the people of Palestine by the murderous state of Israel continues unabated with the full support of the Euro-Atlantic axis. And if there is anything that can stop it – or even put some kind of institutional barrier to it, as was potentially the latest UN Security Council resolution after almost six months of war in favour of an immediate ceasefire in Gaza – it is nothing but the Palestinian resistance itself, which cancels out ‘on the ground’ Zionist plans, as well as the international solidarity movement: from the armed resistance in Yemen and Lebanon to the mass mobilizations within the same capitalist metropolises.

As decades of history have proven, the interests of Euro-Atlantic imperialism in the geostrategically critical Middle East pass through the existence of a powerful killer state, as a placeholder, Israel. In this sense, its diplomatic and military support is a one-way street, which is fully confirmed the opening of the Red Sea front against the Yemeni people and the Houthis in the name of protecting the interests of international shipping capital.

At the same time, Greek involvement in the imperialist campaign in the Middle East is intensifying. The assumption of the role of strategic coordination of the EU’s Operation “ASPIDES”.EU’s strategic coordination of the EU’s strategic operation “Operation Strategic Coordination” in the Red Sea and the assignment of the military base of Larissa as a centre of operations, following the decision to participate in the American-British operation Prosperity Guardian with the frigate Hydra, marks exactly this:
